B.Sc in Bio-Technology

BSc Biotechnology is a 3-year undergraduate course that allows the candidates to learn how technology is utilized to create useful and necessary products from living organisms. Each year, 40,000 students graduate with biotechnology from more than 302 Biotechnology colleges in India. 

Aspirants need to qualify the 10+2 level from any recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible for BSc Biotechnology. BSc Biotechnology admission is strictly provided on the basis of the candidate’s marks obtained at the higher secondary level. 
However, some of the top BSc Biotechnology colleges in India conduct their own entrance tests for granting admission to this course which is usually followed by a personal interview session for final selection. Distance BSc Biotechnology courses are also available for candidates who are unable to pursue a regular BSc Biotechnology course.

BSc Biotechnology Syllabus includes subjects such as Organic Mechanisms in Biology, Microbial Genetics, Molecular Genetics, DNA Typing, Proteomics & Beyond, etc.
